In The Light Of Truth
The Grail Message by Abd-ru-shinTarry ye in Jerusalem…
Luke 24:49
This advice or command was given by Jesus to His disciples as one of the departing Words He gave to them before His Ascension. He told them to stay in Jerusalem and not to go elsewhere and to expect the promise of His Father. “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”
He told His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they are imbued with Power from On High. Indeed the disciples waited behind in Jerusalem and soon after the Ascension of the Lord the Power from the Holy Spirit came upon them and they performed the wonders which have been described in the Bible.
The Power which they received allowed them to be filled with strength to go out and preach the Gospels in the Name of Jesus Christ. They went out and fulfilled their destinies as disciples once they had received this Power. This Power enabled them to act according to their various abilities in fulfilment of their promise as disciples.
Without this Power they would never have been able to achieve what they did as the Power allowed them to unfold their spiritual abilities. However, knowing all this it is all the more disappointing that present day Christians without further ado confuse this great promise which had already taken place with the disciples and which today we now know as the Day of Pentecost with another great Promise given by Jesus – the Promise of the Coming of the Counsellor and Spirit of Truth.
John 16: 7-11 – Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
John 16:12-15 – I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. John 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
These two quotations were promises by Jesus of an event far into the future. An event which would require the Coming in the flesh of another Person Who would come and fulfil this Mission. It requires the personal fulfilment of the Coming of Someone Who also has been sent by God to complete and consolidate the Mission of Jesus.
It requires the Coming of Someone Who would come and teach us all Truth about everything there is to know about God, Creation, Man and so on. A complete knowledge of the entire Creation so that man will no longer live in ignorance of the Laws of God and as such be continuously subject to the will of darkness.
At the same time this Person will bring the Judgment. This is clearly stated in the verses above and were the Words of Jesus Himself as He spoke to His disciples 2000 years ago. It is unfortunate that His disciples did not understand Him fully and mankind since that time has not taken the time to understand these Words of Jesus.
In spite of what we find today in organised religion these Words of Christ will be fulfilled. Not a single Word of Jesus will be lost in this as all Divine Words are always fulfilled to the letter. It is hoped that mankind will be prepared to open themselves objectively to the Truth and learn to think for themselves instead of clinging rigidly to interpretations which do not align with the Truth.
